Voting Open 1st June To 31st July 2024

In partnership with the Sunshine Business Association, we're sponsoring this year's Sunshine Business Awards!

The Sunshine Business Awards acknowledge and reward outstanding businesses within the busy hub of Sunshine CBD. Proudly presented by the Sunshine Business Association, these bi-annual awards will take place from the 1st June to 31st July 2024. These awards will recognise the best of the best small businesses in Sunshine and their owners plus give recognition of the businesses strength, stamina and business success.

There are 15 Categories and 15 Prizes:

• The business with the greatest number of votes in each category will win $1,000 cash plus a $2,000 Marketing and Business Development voucher.
• The business with the second and third number of votes in each category will each win a prize plus a Finalist shop front window decal.

$46,000 worth of prizes in cash and marketing/business development is being given back to our Sunshine businesses that are within the Sunshine CDB and are Special Rate payers.

The 15 Voting Categories are:

3. STAR Sweets & Drinks (Cakes, Desserts, Drinks & Wine)
4. STAR Take-Away & Fast Food (Take-Away & Fast Food outlets (non-restaurant)
5. STAR Fresh Food & Groceries (Bakeries, Groceries & Delicatessens, Meat & Seafood, Supermarkets)
6. STAR Fashion & Jeweller(Clothing, Jewellery, Shoes, Accessories, Dry Cleaners, Laundry & Alterations)
7. STAR Barber (Men’s Hair & Barber)
8. STAR Hair, Beauty & Nails (Ladies Hair, Beauty & Nails)
9. STAR Lifestyle & Retail (Automotive, Entertainment & Games, Florists, Gifts, Home, Keys Cut & Shoe Repairs, Post Office, Newsagencies, Second-hand Goods, Tobacco, Travel-Agencies)
10. STAR Health& Fitness (Chemists, Fitness, Health, Wellbeing & Massage)
11. STAR Medical (Audiology, Chiropractic, Dental, Funeral Services, Medical, Optical)
12. STAR Real Estate (Property Service, Real Estate Agencies)
